Energy + Vibration

Energy describes the ability of a system to cause change, and everything in the universe, including particles and objects, is made up of energy. This energy can manifest through vibrations, which occur when an object or substance oscillates around a fixed point. For example, sound waves are vibrations detected by our ears as sound. Similarly, scent is the perception of odour through our sense of smell, caused by molecules in the air interacting with our nasal receptors.

These molecules vibrate at specific frequencies, and our sense of smell interprets these vibrations as different scents. Hence, scent is a form of energy that we perceive through the vibrations of molecules. In the valley of the senses, abundant nature is alive with vibrations—buzzing, pulsing, lapping, rippling, shining, oscillating, waning—like the heartbeat of the world. All is vibration, and energy is what causes change, defining transformation. In our universe, all is energy, all is change, and all is vibration, even scent. When we smell, we detect the vibrations of molecules in the air, interpreting them as different scents.

William Borrell

William is a seasoned entrepreneur with over ten years of expertise in the distillation industry. In 2010, he founded Vestal, a brand that quickly rose to global acclaim as one of the most awarded craft spirit brands. After successfully selling the brand in 2020, William expanded his influence across a broad spirits portfolio. He is also the visionary behind London’s renowned boutique cocktail bars, Ladies & Gentlemen and Crossroads, both of which have earned prestigious accolades. William's work is defined by his meticulous research and unwavering commitment to sourcing, understanding, and processing the finest raw ingredients, leading to the creation of multiple award-winning spirit brands for leading multinational companies
