Crafting the Fragrance

Distillation:
Our fragrances are distilled in London, leveraging William’s expertise to create a harmonious blend of alcohol, plants, flowers, roots, resins, and herbs.

Fabrication:
Once distilled, the fragrances are fabricated in Grasse, the historic heart of perfumery, where centuries-old techniques meet modern innovation.

Finishing Touches:
Finally, each bottle is hand-painted in Milan, adding an artisanal touch that makes every Vallense fragrance a work of art.

As William Borrell states, “Fragrance is an alchemy of alcohol and plants and flowers, roots, resins, and herbs; the scents of our natural world. And in the extraction lies the magic. The way ingredients macerate together is something I’m very familiar with. In the creation of our fragrances, I have applied specialized knowledge from the world of alcohols, in particular the distillation process.”

Upon the first spray or opening, oxygen begins to weave its way into the bottle, initiating a slow and gentle oxidation of the precious ingredients. This natural process gradually unfolds over time (2-3 years), influenced by how much of the fragrance you have enjoyed. We understand that choosing a perfume is an intimately personal experience. Our olfactory descriptions are crafted to guide you in discovering your signature scent, but it's important to note that the fragrance can interact differently with each individual's skin.

If you find that the fragrance is not to your liking, provided the box remains unopened and the perfume unused, we are delighted to offer an exchange or a refund. You have a 14-day window from the date of purchase to initiate a return or exchange with us. Please be aware that postage and packing fees are your responsibility. To ensure safe return, we recommend securely packaging the products and using tracked delivery. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returned items that arrive damaged, nor can we issue refunds or authorize exchanges for items lost in transit.
